THE  ARTIST

I WAS BORN IN ISRAEL .  MY FATHER WORKED FOR  AIRLINES SECURITY AND WAS POSTED IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD.  TO EVERY LOCATION  HE WAS STATIONED HE TOOK THE FAMILY WITH HIM INCLUDING ME, MY MOM, MY BROTHER AND  TWO  SISTERS.

AT THE AGE OF 7 WE MOVED TO QUEENS, NEW YORK, USA.

ONE OF THE HAPPIEST MOMENTS I CAN REMEMBER IN LIFE  IS MY 10TH BIRTHDAY WHEN I RECEIVED AS A PRESENT FROM MY PARENTS MY FIRST CAMERA. A KODAC INSTAMATIC CAMERA.

WHAT MY PARENTS DIDN'T KNOW IS THAT TO GIVE ME A CAMERA IS EQUIVALENT TO GIVING A COWBOY A GUN.  I SHOT EVERYTHING THAT MOVED IN ANY DIRECTION.

UNTILL I GOT USED TO THE LIFE IN QUEENS, MY FATHER NOTIFIED US AGAIN THAT IT'S TIME TO PACK OUR BAGS AND MOVE TO VICTORIA ISLAND IN BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA.

EVEN THOUGH I WAS SAD AND  DEPRESSED  TO LEAVE THE HOME I WAS SO USED TO AND ESPECIALLY NEW YORK AND QUEENS, THE TRANSIT TO BRITISH COLUMBIA AND LATER TO ONTARIO, OPENED NEW WORLDS FOR ME.

IT WAS THE EXACT THING  MY PHOTOGRAPHY CAREER NEEDED,  SWITCHING FROM AN URBAN ENVIRONMENT TO  VAST NATURAL SURROUNDINGS.

UP TO THIS DAY I CONTINUE TO EXPLORE, DISCOVER AND DEVELOP.

THE CAMERA HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY CLOSEST FRIEND, INSEPARABLE FROM MY ARMS.

I WILL SHARE WITH YOU MAGICAL  MOMENTS IN THE MOST  BEAUTIFUL AND ASPIRING  PLACES AROUND THE GLOBE.

I HOPE YOU WILL BE TOUCHED, INSPIRED, AND MOVED BY MY WORK.
